A new bakery A Pinch of Sprinkles opened up near me and I’ve been meaning to check it out for Christmas and then Valentine’s but didn’t get around to it til just recently for Easter. And it didn’t disappoint! It’s the cutest little bakery that changes decorations seasonally, which I absolutely adore so you KNOW I’ll be visiting often for the gram. There’s so many cute things to look at, so much detail, and so many cute things to buy if you want accessories and decor for yourself beyond just baked goods! Everything is made fresh and the menu changes daily with cute new creations. I was amazed by the size of their croissants and learned that they were considered the ‘baby’ size. They make mama and papa sized ones on the weekends so of course now I have to find time on one of my weekends off to…you know, do reseach, lol. I wanted to try their strawberry shortcake creation but it was sold out the day we visited so yet another reason I’ll have to come back. I had their peeps donut and my sister had their carrot cake cookie and we devoured everything immediately because it was so good! The whipped cream on top of my donut, I don’t know what it was but it was amazing. I need more of it in my life.
We met the lovely owner and baker Meli and got to know the history of the shop and I LOVE that the bakery is not only women-owned but inspired by and run by her sisters. I’m excited to bring all my sisters here one day. They even offer cute decorating classes from time to time, which would definitely be fun for a sister date. I love that this so close to home and I can’t wait to visit more often for cute pics for the gram, especially since the store has beautiful lighting in a perfectly placed window near the piece de resistance of all the decor, especially if you visit at the right time if you catch it at golden hour. We got lucky on our first visit and I love how the photos came out.
This is definitely a must stop if you’re on the East end/North Fork area this summer on Long Island. It’s in a cute area with a bunch of cute shops and restaurants too so I would definitely make this a stop on your way towards the farm activities, or on your way back from so you can grab a quick bite to eat here. I can’t wait to see what the next set of decorations are going to be and to try more cute creations on the menu!
